Well, we started off the day with a good morning at church  Changed clothes after church and headed over to Howser to watch the 'Noles blast Georgia State  Got full on boiled p-nuts, hotdogs and cracker jacks :lick: We decided that such a lovely afternoon had to used to the max, so we headed back home and decided to hook up the boat and run over to Jackson.

We got to Sunset about 4:00pm and the lake looked great....just like Saturday. We ran over to a spot near Brill Point and started slinging. Avery was throwing a yellow spinnerbait and I threw the old faithful plastic worm. I didn't get anything on the plastic, but Avery managed 2 nice bass about 2-3 lbs. He found a few pickerel that liked the spinnerbait too. All the fish he caught were caught along the shoreline and in the patches of weeds and pads. I didn't get the water temp but it was a bit chilly. We headed in around 6:30pm and got back just in enough time to load the boat before dark.

I can't wait till warmer weather gets here and really gets them fish going. Jackson might be a fun place to go again starting this summer  Great weekend all in all
