Trout and Redfish report 2-21 & 2-22

I was able to get out for a couple hours down here in The County on Sunday and Monday afternoon. I found some reds schooled up pretty good and was able to get a bunch of them to eat a spoon when the tide was high. Caught them up to about 27"

Yesterday I paddled out after the rain looking for some trout. It was still cloudy and the wind was a pretty stiff 15 out of the south, but the big trout were hungry, so I fed 'em a steady diet of 6" jerk baits. It was a great hour of fishing with a few trout going over 24". Looks like spring is getting close.
