Has anyone noticed bass starting to make beds yet? Haven't had a chance to go due to the messed up weather.

I have not been looking but I would think the water is still a little chilly right now :cold . On a lighter note the white bass are bitting in the Ock. River @ highway 90. I saw several boats catching em on small lipless crankbaits this past Saturday.

The lake I've been fish'n the last 3 or 4 weeks was showing fish interested in spawn'n( this was prior to the last real cold period) at first but then all the rain really clouded up the water and I think changed some of their minds. However, I noticed last weekend a LOT of bass fry around the edges so some of them already have. But the two fatties that I caught last weekend had not spawned yet.

The cold water has held them off. Water temp in Seminole has been around 58 degrees. Talquin is even colder. They are staging, but haven't moved up yet.

Got to go today finally. Weather sucked. Fish were starting to fan beds everywhere. Quess the weather didn't matter. Just that time of the month(strange how that works on many things) Catchem and release them. Fun to catch but needs to be released for the future!!! Good luck!!
