Econfina -- 3/9/10

Because of the drizzly weather this morning, I put off work for a bit and decided to go make a run down to Econfina this morning. Launched at 9:00am and went east towards Rock Island. Nothing for 3 hours. Decided to go back and try a few creeks from Saturday. Didn't go into them earlier because of 2 yahoos running all over creation in a friggin airboat 
......in and out of every creek mouth between Econfina and Keaton I think 
Finally got up into one creek and the trout bite was on! We had 5 trout in the boat in 15 minutes and limited out over the next hour. All trout were caught along bars using an orange/gold Catch2m and 5" soft white plastics. Water temp was 59. Great day out and still back in enough to get the kids from school
