Went out at 2pm & back by 5pm. Fished in front of river entrance 4-5' of water. It was windy, cold, choppy, cloudy, and wet. Two of us caught 6 trout. Two measured, kept the 20" for dinner I started out with gulp new penny, nada. Switched to a Gambler in root beer/chartruse paddle tail on 1/4 and 1/16oz jigs and stayed w/ it. Why is it that some people I know just can not understand why we like a little salt spray on our lips? Great to be back on the river & gulf.
