Safety thought/tip

Post by Chalk »

Talking with my dad last night discussing the tragic events at Keaton.... We thought maybe you should write your name on loose type boat gear i.e. boat cushions, tackle box, etc. If some unforeseen mishap occurs, it would hopefully lead to clues to your where abouts.

I did the same for my dove shooting bucket, then realized some times I might have to leave it behind and wouldn't want to be tracked down   ....

Well, it couldn't hurt, but I don't see how it would help much. Better would be the usual stuff such as vhf, flares, signal mirror, inflatable pfds, epirb, and filing a float plan.
