Roof Rod Rack

I saw this rook rack for carrying rod and reels which seemed to provide good secure protection from reels. I will be transporting rod and reels including level wind combos with a SUV. I had envisioned something like this before ever looking on the internet. When I found this, I noticed it is discontinued. Does anyone have any experience with these or similar products or some helpful tips? Thanks.

Yes that is a good one. I have one and it works great when I need it.

Tidedancer - do you know if you can still buy one or are you aware of a similar model? Everyone that I can find that advertised (including the manufacture's website) says they have discontinued or out of stock. Thanks for your response.

I used mine when we were renting on SGI. I have dog crates in the Yukon so it worked great for the rods I carried down with me. We now have our own home in Carrabelle now and the rod holder is sitting in the barn still in the original box.
If you would like to buy this one make me an offer. You can e-mail me of send a PM

Hey Tidedancer you're just right down the road from me. My wife used to teach at Lilburn middle school a few years back.
