May have found a 2 year old Sea King to buy, 19 foot Bay boat. Anybody familer with this brand? They are made in North Carolina, and i see St. Marks Marine is a dealer for them. Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with them. I would be curious how long they have been in business and what kind of hull warranty it has.

local dealer here in athens sells them. i have crawled all thru one they have and they seem to be pretty decent. my next door neighbor bought one when they first started selling them about a year and a half ago and he really likes it. says it performs well for him. from what i understand, they have been around a while. we just don't see them much because they are from NC.

I bought the 180cc last March.



I love it. It has a 10 year hull warranty. I took it to my local boat shop and they said it was a well built boat. I actually bought mine from Ron at St. Marks marine. I believe I got a pretty good deal for a new boat. I have the 90hp Yamaha and it pushes 35mph with about 20gals of gas. More than I need. What impressed me most is how shallow I can get. Specs say it only drafts 13in but with two people, gear and all I haven't been in less than 2ft. I can do just about any kind of fishing I want with it.

I would just make sure you get someone to check it out thoroughly as with any used boat.
