Water in fuel tank

Susspected grudge from an evil woman caused my boat fuel tank to produce five gallons of fresh water. Ive pumped out most of it but it still has sludge in it. It's a 20 gallon under deck aluminum saddle tank. No way to remove it short of ripping up the deck.
Any one got a suggestion on how best to clean and purge it out?
Also taking suggestions on how best to purge the woman who did this evil deed!

Can you get to the sending unit hole? If you can get to that hole you could rig up a small electric pump and kinda wash the tank with diesel or gas...have all the dirty stuff run into something.

Your own your own with the women...a strong hand and a loving heart will go a long way

That's what it's going to take for me to get back on the water today :-D

I can get to the plate for the sending unit. It has self tapping metal screws for removal. Not sure if I could wash out the tank with gasoline though (sides, top, etc). Pretty milky looking.

The culpert who did this atrocious deed was a former friend of my wife. May the god of vengence see fit to reward her one day. Nothing worse than having a lifelong jarhead seeking atonement. "Seek out, close with, and destroy." salute2

Pump out as much of the gunk fuel mix as possible. Make sure all the fuel lines are clean and clear.Obtain one gallon of denatured grain alcohol. In the tank, mix 10 gallons of fresh fuel with the 1 gallon of alcohol. Trailer the boat for about 10 miles with as many starts and stops and turns as possible. (this is to get a good and complete mix)
Pump that mess out,(I know it is expensive but you might be able to use it for fire starting or in a leaf blower or something) Fill the tank and use a good grade of fuel treatment. Cross you fingers. Run as normal. This should take care of it.
Semper Fi brother Marine.
P.S. I feel sorry for the person responsible for this mess. Karma sux!

Hey FF,
Thanks for the info. Got me a gallon of alcohol at Lowes, fairly cheap. 10 gal of gas in Perry ain't cheap just to use to start fires with afterwards. Price I gotta pay I guess to get my boat going. Lots of Jarheads on this site now. Glad to see it. What years were you in? What MOS? Spent seven years in the grunts (MOS 0331), two years as a Primary Marksman Instructer (PMI) for the Recruits at Edison Range, Camp Pendleton. Four years as an Inspector/Instructor for Reserves in Chattanooga, TN. Six years as an Armorer/Ordanace Repairman (MOS 2111/2131). Retired 1989 then spent sixteen more years working as a civilian for the Marine Corps. Sixteen years also as Confederate Marine reenactor, hence (CS Marine) Retired again 2005.

If you had a real job with no benefits you could still be working.

Wow CS, I wish I had the forethought to have avoided working by staying in. I was in from 77-81, 6638 Aviation Electronics Tech. I worked on the boxes that went into cargo helicopters.(CH53 and CH46)
I am now turning wrenches on Euro trash(Jag, Rover, BMW etc...) It was much easier in the Corps. I really hope the alcohol treatment fixes the problem. The alcohol will allow the water an fuel to mix or emulsify. Once it is emulsified it should all come out when pumped. The little that is left will mix with the fresh fuel when you fill it up and add the fuel treatment. Techron, Stabil ethanol treatment, or PriG will probably do the trick. I try to stay away from "Dri-gas" as it contains methanol and can harm you rubber fuel lines even more than ethanol.
Good luck brother.
