I'll be going down to sgi plantation for a week. 4/18 - 4/25 of this month. i'll be staying on the bay side about a 10 minute walk from bob sikes cut jetty. last may when i was down there i had an awsome time!! great food, good fishing and pretty women I had reds tailing every morning and evening right out back all week long. it was just great! you could walk out back and they would be all around you tailing. i tried to get them on fly but i couldn't quite reach them. and if i could reach them, after several false casts it took to reach the distance, they were several feet out of range or uninterested by that time. but when switched to a spinning rod and gold spoon they they would go out of their way to grab it. mostly slot sized fish but i release most fish i catch anyway. I think i'll bring a bunch of gold spoon flies this time.

I really want to focus on pomps on fly in the surf near bob sikes cut jetty. I want to do some serious surf fly fishing. i love wading the surf. I have the bug for some doormat flounder and pompano on fly this year! it would be epic to get into some pompano tailing on the sand bar.

Ill be down on the 19th and if work allows will be staying till the 20th, ill be out on the beach behind the buccaneer inn looking for pomps if you come over that way stop bye and say hi.

I'll be mostly down by bob sikes cut and fishing the bay. if anyone wants to hook up and do some surf/bay wading in the plantation pm me. i'm always up for some good angling company I'll have plenty of flies.
