The Lanark Boat Club, who owns the ramp in Lanark, has annual launch passes on sale for $100.00. It gets you unlimited launches for the calendar year which is a great deal. You can get the pass by visiting their website at
http://www.lanarkboatclub.com and clicking on Ramp/Slip info or call the DockMaster, Ray Gray at 933-3490. Happy fishing.

we had a ramp down here in the northern end of Mosquito Lagoon at Lefil's fish camp. It used to be $5.
Then the lot owners decided to make it private and if you wanted to launch, you had 2 options.
Buy a lot for an outrageous amount of $$$$ (because none were available) or pay the annual fee of $1000.00.
It ran out a little bait shack and 3 guides that also brought revenue to the park. (they had a few rental units that the guides clients would book.)
$100 isnt too bad if you fish that area a lot. Plus you get security for your vehicle. Come to ML and park at beacon 42 or biolab road during the week, you will be happy if you have wheels left.

Its a great deal if you fish alot in that area. The trout are being caught but it looks like grouper have been slow. A lot of rock bass and some nice AJ's have been caught lately. Hopefully seas will lay down after this front goes by.

The ramp is good, but the getting in and out on a low tide sucks!! 15 minute longer ride to Carrabelle, free ramp and a store with bait, ice and beer is well worth the extra 15 minutes. $100.00 a year will buy alot of beer!!
