REDTROUT SHOOTOUT

Just wanted to remind everyone that if you want to pre-register for the RedTout Shootout and save $75.00 on your entry fee, you need to do it by Saturday, April 10th. On or before the 10th, the entry fee is $125.00. After April 10th, the entry fee is $200.00. You can download the registration form at
www.redtroutshootout.com, fill it out and then fax it to (850) 668-93311 or you can just drop it off at Kevin's. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. (850) 528-0553
Also, if you would like to attend the banquet on April 15 at Cross Creek Par 3 Golf Course and driving Range, let me know. We only have 38 tickets out of the 200 left. Ticket prices are $15.00 for individual and $125.00 for a reserved table of 8.

1st - $3000
2nd -$1500
3rd - $1000
4th - $800
5th - $700
6th - $600
7th - $500
8th - $400
9th - $300
10th - $200

Synopsis
A frontal boundary that had been stalled across the northern Gulf of Mexico this morning is beginning to move slowly northward across the peninsula of Florida. Winds and seas will remain light until our next cold front approaches from the west. As it stands now...cautionary and advisory levels look to be reached by the weekend.
Forecast as of 3:03 PM EDT on April 19, 2010
Apalachee Bay- Coastal Waters From Ochlockonee River To Apalachicola Fl Out To 20 Nm-
Coastal Waters From Suwannee River To Keaton Beach Out 20 Nm- Waters From Suwannee River To Apalachicola Fl From 20 To 60 Nm-
Thursday
Southwest wind 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Protected waters smooth.
Friday
Southeast wind 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Protected waters a light to moderate chop.
Saturday
Southeast wind 15 to 20 knots becoming south 20 to 25 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then decreasing to 15 to 20 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Protected waters choppy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Never Fails Just like last fall...crappy weather....it separates the boys from the men. Hopefully we will have a better showing this year than our massive 2 lb trout and our nonexistent Red last fall! Lol

SCA last fall during the tourney and they didnt reschedule it..lol...we will see! All they said is its an inshore tourney and that the big waves were offshore. I agree but we were still bumping some 3-4s coming back from dog island!
