I think you can rent one at Home Depot or Lowes.

Yes you can.

I was able to get the subfloor complete over the weekend... ya know, I'd forgotten how heavy a 3/4 " 4 X 8 sheet of plywood is. A young man who works for Homedepot was reminded when he dropped one loading it on my vehicle. It hit him right at the base of the toe nail on his big toe   :smt010 Got his shoe and sock off (tennis shoe!) and blood was everywhere. Sure felt bad for him. I wasn't able to come up with a ramset to borrow after touching base with 8 or 10 possible sources so I decided to try the old fashion concrete nail approach. Some of them held good and some didn't just as I had feared. 6pm Saturday I purchased a low end model. That worked fine and the strips stayed in place when the plywood was nailed down to them. Cost was cheaper than renting. The model that HD rents uses a strip of charges but you still have to put the nails in one at a time. Now I need to do some plumbing, wall framing, tile or vinyl laying, move a door and some electrical :smt119
