I already got a plan to fish under the bridge for some sheepshead, but if that doesn't work out...

Would anyone give me some other spots to try out?
We rented one of those houses for the weekend
I'm gonna be in a 15' with a 9.9 so grouperin is out. but any good inshore spots would be appreciated. I'd be willing to share a tip on sheepshead you probably already know

However, if you find them it should catch the bigguns and plenty of them.
Thanks

I would try Bob Sike's cut.
Have not fished it in a while, but the fish do travel through there.

Hey Waterdog,
Thanks, I hadn't even thought of that, and I've been wanting to fish there.
As for that tip on sheepshead. A friend of mine can limit (almost every time) with crawfish. If anyone was in the market to target sheeps, I'd say try and find some mudbugs.

Try the oyster bar next to the crosses on the East side of the bridge..falling tide on the outside of the bar can be good for reds...the bar that is the biggest and closest to the bridge falls off into some deep water and can have some good fish on it sometimes...good luck!

As you drive over the bridge to the island look off to your left and there is a church...also, you should see the big oyster bar at any tide...
P.S.
Sat. Wx is looking prime for offshore!

Behind the Baptist Church, bayside of the island, just east of where the bridge meets land. You'll see them from the top of the second bridge when you're driving in.

Thanks for clarifying that, I was rushing to stop posting as my boss was on his way to bust me surfing the net...nothing like this last few hours on a FRIDAY!

Hey thanks guys. I didn't do as well as I wanted on the sheeps, and also did a little more partying with the friends than fishing.
I posted a report on the Inshore board though
Thanks again I gotta give this site some props.

That's funny, most folks around here "give" props to oyster bars and rocks.
