Folks,
Have only fished Econfina a couple times and that was a year ago. Got a buddy wanting to go Saturday. Was hoping I could get a couple bits of info:
- Can you get live shrimp in the area.......early in the morning?
- Anyone stayed at the cabins at the landing? If so, any comments on how they are?
Thanks in advance.

Nope and you don't need them.

It's been several years, but I stayed at the motel and it was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. JR's used to have shrimp but I haven't stopped by there in a very long time. The place looked pretty deserted the last time I drove by about a month ago. You would probably just be wasting your money to buy live shrimp anyway this time of year. As Tom says, you don't need them.

Jr's has shrimp but the truck is usually running late. Just catch some pins and use them instead. I will be there sat in a yellow Kenner. Hail me on the radio(probly be on 14 or 16). The last time I was down we did well near Rock Island. Pinfish colored swa's were the ticket.
