Two of us left out of Mashes Sands ramp at 8:30 Saturday morning and headed to a favorite "rock" about 10 miles S.E. of Alligator Point. The Weather report was accurate! We had 2 ft. seas and the weather was just fantastic
Using LY's, we caught lots of short grouper and the usual grunts and rock bass. The highlight of the day was catching four keeper grouper, two red and two black.
They were all hungry and this made for a short trip as we were safely back to shore by 2 p.m.

Tom,
I was in my 19' Cobia center console w/ 115 hp Yamaha.
We have a 28' Trojan bridge sedan, but it burns 2 gallons per mile on the fuel!

Were you out that way?
