New Pflueger G30L/Star Aerial Combo
With four sealed stainless steel ball bearings, a corrosion-resistant graphic frame and side plates, stainless steel pinion gear and anodized aluminum spool, the Pflueger G30L is designed to work without fail in the briny conditions. It also has a lever-action drag setting, an oversized sure-grip knob with counterbalance on the sturdy aluminum handle, a stamped stainless steel foot and graphite rod clamp. It is pre-loaded with 30-pound green Ande monofilament line with a bimini twist and 80-pound Ande clear leader. Specifications include a capacity of 320 yards of 20# and a 4.3:1 gear ratio. The reel weighs 18.9 ounces. It comes with a neoprene reel cover, the original box and manual. The rod is a beefy Star Aerial EX3080C-6 rod with a rugged graphite/glass blank. It is rated for 30 to 80 pounds, with features including double-foot ceramic guides, 14.5 inches of foam foregrip and a 9-inch slick Power butt with aluminum gimbal and cap. The rod length is 6 foot. This is a good all-around combo with plenty of backbone and line capacity to handle grouper, amberjack and snapper. It'll also work well for trolling for shallow-water grouper.
