Since I purchased the new beast I put the old monark up for sale. Makes me sad. :smt010 Love that boat.

I feel your pain, Rob. Maybe you should just keep the old girl. She won't mind playing second fiddle as long as you give her a little attention now and then.

Do you have to sell her? She might make a good Lake or short trip boat.

Two boats is a sign of prosperity and a thinking man - you need a backup in case one breaks

Don't do it Rob! If its paid for, KEEP IT! Plus you have more options now. Not many people can go big and small.

I sold my first duck boat, (The Duck Slayer - not named by me, but by all the guys that had ridden in the little slow leaky thing and killed enough ducks over the years to sink it if put in all at once). It was a 14 foot riveted boat with a dent in the bow and a 5 hp Go Devil on it. I sold it for next to nuthin and kick myself all the time. It did not eat anything and I had room, I wish I never sold it. There are plenty of times a year it would be real handy to have that little thing back.

I agree with everyone. Keep that puppy as a back up boat. Can't get that pontoon up in the creeks! You need a brush boat.

So far no calls on it. Awwww....to bad. Still need to reseal the lower unit. No big deal. She's a great river boat. I've taken it over to the hooch many a times. Stout enough for the current but not pretty enough for me to care about scratching.

Where do you have it advertised Rob? As everyone might have guessed by now, I'm a sucker for old boats. Old dogs and old boats, somebody got to love em. :smt010
