Got out twice this last week.
Wednesday I had a Commercial Realtor visiting from Orlando- we had some appointments at the coast so we had to tack on a morning of fishing.
Headed out of Panacea at 7am and fished till 12. Found the trout off Shell Point and released a bunch of shorts with a handful of keepers mixed in.
Not a great day of fishing but a good time on the water. Most all of the fish were in 4 feet of water. Caught on Gulp under a Cajun Thunder.
Yesterday was a kid fishing day- went out with My buddy, His three boys and my wife(to provide 1 to 1 kid coverage)
The kids played in the water and on the beach at Mashes Sands, we saw a water spout, Had a great lunch of Grouper, Oysters, Smoked Mullet and Fish Dip at Poseys dock side(the new restaurant at the marina- replaced Hookwrecks)
At the end of the play day we ran out to a hole in 15 feet of water and got into the white trout.
They were hitting grubs and cut bait. Got a dozen nice ones in the box and headed for the hill.
I cleaned fish while the boys played in the pool and then Jessica whipped up dinner.
Broiled trout, rice, corn and snap peas. Good end to a good day!
Only photo worth sharing- my buddy snapped this and titled it "Barry Working"

By the way- The Spanish Macs are everywhere!!!
