does anybody here use "swellwatch" for planning a trip???

heading to Carrabelle next thur/fri/Sat.....swellwatch shows 1 to 2 for swell and 4sec for the period......how accurate has this been for yall in the past????

I just go fish when I can.

I use BuoyWeather and this is what Friday looks like. Usually this site is a lot better than the NOAA site.
Friday 6/11
Morning
Light and variable winds with smooth seas. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: S 5 to 7 knots
Seas: SW 0 feet at 2 sec.
Afternoon
Light winds with a slight chop. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: SSW 8 to 11 knots
Seas: SSW 1 feet at 2 sec.

I use this, which I think is similar to Swellwatch. This one is pretty good on accuracy. And a heck of a lot better than the guberment site (NOAA).

Windfinder.com is pretty good, too. It is for sailing nuts, so focus is on wind speed and direction, but drill down and you can also find wave-height and period predictions.
