I was not sure where to put this, but seeming i consider sunglasses a tool in fishing then i figured i would post it here. I come across an ad in one of my fishing magazines for free polarized sunglasses by redstar. I never heard of them but went to their website and ordered a pair just paid shipping and handling. I paid $19 for a pair they list for $199. I have a pair of costas and have no idea how these will compare, but i thought i would throw it out if anybody else wants to order a pair of their site. I will update what I think when mine come in they are suppose to ship today or tommorow.

Free? Not saying they might not be worth $19 (don't know), but as for the free I think that's negated by the small print at the bottom of the linked page.

"You pay only postage, processing & handling for each item ordered. PP&H includes First Class postage, insurance, general overhead, profit, and is based on the average for items sold on the internet or mail order catalogs."

Spot on, promise not trying to pick on you but instead the company. Just couldn't help but laugh at their small print PH&H definition... could let them charge $1,000,000 and chalk it up to handling if they wanted.

That said, you're absolutely right... not much different than a Wally World pair from cost standpoint so if they make it in one piece you're likely going to get a better pair for the same money.

My eyes are worth more than 20 bucks. They are not something you should play with. You could ruin them with a cheap pair of sunglasses, and you usually get what you pay for.
