Adventures of the Celestial Crab a reader digest report!

Post by Ranaman »

Apalach and C-Belle

Friday June 4th: Had long been planning and finally got to go snapper fishing with my best buddy (Larry) and our friend from East Coast (Buster) and my lovely bride (Celeste)! Guys left Friday morning, trailer trouble early, and fixed it. Got to Lanark talked to my other best buddy (Todd) who fished all week in CALM seas talked about what to do where to go then grabbed his best buddy (Michael) he’s also a good friend of mine and the 4 of us headed to Apalach to look for triple tails? Hit Bob Sikes cut couldn’t stand it and headed offshore in sloppy seas to bridge rubble, found snapper, caught some had fun, rode in near dark, missed bad rain storm by seconds, met Celeste had great dinner at new place in C-belle, got to bed tired and well fed! Got woken in middle of night by trailer guests and had to move in with Todd and Michael in the other trailer.

Saturday June 5th:Woke late fished in more slop this time out of C-belle. Caught a couple Celeste catches big fish, sleeps on way in going 30 in 3-5 ft seas! Wow. Make HUGE feast of shrimp, steaks & veggies from garden and drink some good beer, told lies, lived and laughed till we passed out!

Sunday June 6th: Got up decent hour cleaned lots of grunts and sea bass 8 snapper and a flounder, vacuum sealed fish and it starts raining, Celeste dons some rain gear and goes out and cleans/scrubs boat down in the rain. Don't beleive me

Loaded up got some lunch and hit the road home!

Another dream passes throughout the sundry weeks of working hard and thinking and planning about the next dream! THANKS Todd! Celeste, Buster and Larry and not to be forgotten the side splitting laughter factory Michael! Had a great weekend!
