Saw WAM at the marina when we put the boat in and got invited to tag along to go deep. Since it was such a pretty day, cant pass up the opportunity. WAM got onto a few fish but it didnt pan out for us, so we headed back inshore at around noon to go look for trout.

First drift was at 3' water, caught 2 and a red but it was slow. Moved a little deeper to around 4-5' water and found a little more love. Dave did some damage early in the day. Dave and Calvin did most of the damage on this trip.

The water hit 92 C, so if I were you, hit the shallow early but go deeper in mid-day. Also, if you're using live bait, give the fish a little more time to eat your bait. And finally, bring plenty of water along with you.

Si. Dave caught one on plug but the rest were on pin.

Didnt see too many on the usual spots from last year and most are small. Its gonna be a tough year. The best way to fill the freezer this year is gonna be from the Wallmart. I cant tell the difference anyway once they're frozen.
