That thing is huge. I wonder what the specs are for that beast. They need to make one that is incorporated into a Troller, or even and add-on to exsisting trollers.

Good Lord that thing is massive.

I want to see the specs on it. I'm still thinking about the Wang Anchor.

My guess would be they wouldn't come out with anything heavier than the PP..... The only early concern would be the battery draw when it's in "rough water" mode... I guess you up your battery???

Looks to be the same size as a power pole...look forward to seeing one in person. Looks like its driven by a worm gear.

I am glad to see that Minn Kota is challenging Power pole. Power pole has been the trend setter and with that setting the price. Hopefully MK model would be a bit cheaper and will start a price war with Power pole and we see the prices come down a bit on a very cool not really needed item for fishing.

Here is something similar to the Wang Anchor made by some local folks http://www.skinnywaterproducts.com/anchor_pole.htm

I really like the WANG on my boat, but I'm either going with this or the PP as well. The only draw back (IMHO) to the WANG or any "stake-out" product is you're the one staking it out! The times I've been up front on the TM it sure would be handy to hit the remote and stop the boat vs. walking back (making noise, etc) and staking out. I know you can get bow mounts, etc but I like the transom mount as I think it keeps the boat pointed in a more desirable direction... I'm still figuring my stuff out though... I don't do much staking out on the lake here.
