Got out for an early morning trip with one of my friends who had not been out for about a year.
We found glass slick conditions with the Macs rocketing out of the water in big pods!
Here is Brett on the front of the boat looking for the school to pop up again.

It was hook up after hook up for the first hour of the morning.

Then we went after trout with not much success except for this bad boy!


We were on the water at 6:30 and off by 10:30
Ended up with Macs, trout, blues and were consistently harassed by Ladyfish.
Macs caught on spoons- everything else on pearl gulp. 6' to 8' of water

Nicely done. Don't ya just love those pre-dawn outings? Special time on the water.

Lots of fish caught, a beautiful morning, and dinner. What else could you want?
