Had a large crew today. On board we had my family( my son, wife, and I), my neice, Daniel and two daughters of a friend. This was our view coming out of the canal.

We soaked some squid and pinfish and let the kids have a ball fighting sharks, trout and catfish. This is the kids not so patiently waiting to get in the water.

There was a bunch of boats out there today and as usual I saw to many of them run too close on plane. But we kept a close watch on the kids and they had a ball. We found an easy limit, but nothing to spear today.

Great day on the water with my family and friends.

Do those kids help you clean the scallops?

The biggest thing is to keep moving if they are not there. They are north and south at Keaton. Put one person in if they are not there move before getting everyone in the water. A big mistake I think a lot of people make is to get in the water too early. The bulk of the scallops dont show themselves until 10:00 or so. Not that they are not there but they will be deep in the grass. The most I picked up at one time was seven all within a couple of feet. Mostly pairs and singles though.
