We'll be having our August tournament presented by Sea Tow out of The Moorings in Carrabelle on August 7th, 2010. More details are below.

What: NFGFC August Tournament

Where: The Moorings Marina, Carrabelle, Florida: (850) 697-2800

Registration: 5:45 a.m. to 6:20 a.m.

Safe light - 6:30 a.m.

Weigh-in: Anglers must check in by 3:30 p.m. Weigh-in begins at 3:45 p.m. in order of registration.

Entry Fee: $20 per boat with all NFGFC members; $25 per boat if non-member is on board

Optional Side Pots: Redfish - $10 per person (all on boat must enter) ; Trout - $5 per person (all on boat must enter)

Ramps: Anglers can only launch at ramps on the Carrabelle River

Can we join NFGFC on site if I ever am able to get to one of these?

Yes,you can join at the tournament that morning.
Because you feel so bad about NOT contributing,you can also join online and send your guilt money for each tournament missed online.
If you happen to win a tournament you failed to fish,the club will issue you a check in the mail.

Count me and my daughters, Catherine and Claire as in. Sounds fun. I've never fished the area. Can someone give me some guidance on where to launch? I'll drive over from tally in the a.m. Perhaps I'll conduct a recon next week to get a feel for the area.

What is the Mystery fish? What is the prize for it? Is Sea Tow giving anything away?
