Shark Week - Panacea!

My Buddy Jason's boys have been watching Shark week and called to ask if Mr. Barry would take them out to catch one!
We left Panacea harbor about after lunch with some ladyfish and pins I had saved from earlier in the week.
Stopped just after the end of the channel and dropped down lines- Two rigs on the bottom one on under a float rigged with wire and 5/0 circle hooks.
It didn't take long - and the circle hooks worked perfectly hooking the fish in the corner of the mouth.

We caught five and then the storm started coming our way. So we ran back with a black tip in the box.
While the rain fell, I filled him up and had the folks at Posey's Dockside fry it up for dinner...
They did a great job- it was seasoned well and Delicious!

The boys fought over the last few pieces.
Fun day on the water - they want to know when we can go back and catch a bigger one!
