today has to be the best one hour outing i have ever had! i just arrived at the beach house where we will be staying til school which means hard core fishing for the next week and a half! any ways when we arrived this evening i imedatly hit the water in search of reds! i headed to a favorite spot of mine in about a foot of water with luch turtle grass. on the 5th cast i hooked up with a 27 inch bruiser red! good fun in windy conditions!
once i located them. i steped out and waded for a steatlhier approach. when i say those reds were thick i ment it! i had a red scare the crap out od me when it bumped into my leg. i never thought i would see the day lol. it was geting late so i knew i had to hook up before it got to dark. thats when i saw a torpedo wake swim up behind it and.... boom... boom ...boom once he got it in his mouth the fight was on! he peeled off line like no bodys bisnuess. after a good while on the fish grippers he went
a wonderful hour of fishing! cant beat it in my opinion :mrgreen:
