found the jump button

Post by skitterwalk »

woke up good and early with a glassy smooth greeting from the harbor so i wasted no time to get on the water! pedaled over to the flat of wonders and wonders it did produce :D i tied on a skitterwalk JR due to the calm conditions and it wasnt long before another nice 27" red inhaled my bone colored top water i picked up yesterday.

after that good long fight i drifted out to the drop off i found last year and a consistant spot for poons i have found here lately. everything was hiting that JR but just couldnt manage to get a hook. then.....slurp ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...jump... ZZZZZZZZZZZ a tank of a tarpoon sipped that skitt JR off the surface like a piece of candy. got my heart pumping for a whole 10 seconds before it shook the hook out but well worth it! u can bet where i will be tomorrow in the am. 8)
