Where would you go today?

Morning Everyone,

I might have a chance to get my little jonboat out into the Wakulla or the St. Marks later this morning. I have never fished in the rivers before and have absolutely no clue what I'm doing. I usually fish the flats out off the lighthouse. I only got my boat in the spring, so I haven't been fishing in the area for an entire year and I'm not familiar with how to fish in different seasons.

- Where should I go?

- What should I fish with?

- How should I fish?

Any information at all will be a huge help.

Thanks,

-Bill

Put in at the fort at St. Marks and go up the river around the power plant.

Fish with grubs on the bottom, or throw a mirrolure.

St. Marks River, up past the docks, shrimp on the bottom should produce some trout (be it mostly small, but trout) & mangrove snapper or Chart, curly tail jig bounced on the bottom.....Throw up to the grass line and work it out into the deeper water....Give us a report in the morning
