I was looking for a popping/rattle cork on line and came across a company from Texas I had never heard of... Midcoast Products.
I sent them an email and got a quick reply. They sent me a few to try out :D

The unique thing about these corks is the way you tie one on.. both the line and leader are tied to the top eye.

Ive been using the OUTCAST and MOJO my last few trips with great results.
The Outcast casts like a bullet! The weighted end of the cork swings forward and pulls the bait and leader through the air.
I'm getting a lot longer casts with less effort. Even the three inch throws a mile.

The MOJO and INTICER are a blend of the typical rattle cork and the Outcast.
The Inticer has a rigid wire with beads and a weight on the end. The Mojo has stranded leader wire running through.
I fished the Mojo hard for a few days and the flexible wire keeps it from kinking- a problem I have with most clicker corks.

You guys have seen my reports over the last couple of weeks.
I'm catching fish with these things and outcasting my buddies who are throwing traditional clacker corks. :-D
I'm finding they work great with an unweighted hook baited with a grub or white bait.
You don't need a jighead to get a long cast.

You can find them on the web here: http://www.midcoastproducts.com/
The closest dealer is in Steinhatchee... I'm hoping we get a dealer in town.

I heard about these while reading many of blogs and reviews from ICAST. They seem pretty legit and hope to see them come our way soon.

These corks work very well. I have used the one for about a year now and really like it. My first impression was that it would tangle, but the rig is tangle free. Can't explain it, but it works. Casts like a bullet and also drifts nicely behind the boat bacause the leader line comes straight off the top.

To mimic the Inticer couldn't you just use a Cajun Thunder and tie the leader to the top eye? Might give it a go next time out.

They look and sound great. With the way the leader is tied on top, does a large or extra frisky bait not pull the cork on it's side? I'm very curious about how they work and would like to see one in action.

What'd I do?

They're a pretty big deal in Texas. But I've tried bringing some TX baits around here but nobody wanted to try them.
