Maptech Charts

Post by Sir reel »

Does anyone have the Chart data files for the Maptech application? I recently received a new PC and the ghost/backup from the previous PC apparently did not capture them. Now all I have is just the app. Could sure use the charts.

I am putting ALL the Florida RNC's up for Chart Navigator. Fresh from the Noaa Site. It will take a little time. I will post the link when I get it done.

http://www.charts.noaa.gov/RNCs/Agreement.shtml?FL_RNCs

Go to bottom of page, click OK and save the zip file. It has ALL of the fla ones. just extract them into the chart folder you use.

Put these files into C:\Program Files\Maptech\Chart Navigator\data to get rid of the tide error that you now get on loading. You still do not get the tides, but it won't pop up that dang error....

Note: This is for the free version only, it was discontinued a couple of years back.

For anyone wanting other state charts for Chart Navigator, here is the link. NOAA now packages the whole state into one file. NICE!
