Went out of Finholloway. My boat trailer wishes I had gone out of Econfina. Trout bite was good until noon and then died. Got my trout limit. My two buds caught a mix of trout, blacks and flounder. Next time I ain't buying how improved the Finny ramp is and the ol' pro will be launched from Econfina.

I think that front induced some lockjaw. I was looking for a banner day down there on Sunday and the fishing was pretty spotty except for one monster trout

Rockers/blues/lizzards/shorts were more the norm

I agree about the lockjaw. I went yesterday afternoon and managed two keepers, two shorts, and a lizard

The fish did get a little finicky Sunday when the dark clouds blew through, but they were still biting. Ya'll just needed to us use less aggressive tactics. We boated 3 reds and probably 40 trout, 4 over 20. Once the clouds went away the bite picked back up.

ha, it wasn't JT but that is funny. I said "we" were catching fish, not "I" was catching and "he" was netting. It is only Tuesday and the ol' boy is already posting excuses for why he won't catch fish Saturday.
