need some tarpon flys paterns for north fla i am tying for a friend in thomasville thanks for any help

do you use any flash i know in the keys don"t i tyed up some foam toads and ep toads will they work ?

EP has some flash naturally....I have put a little...usually glue the eye over the flash

on a 2/0 or1/0 hook 2.5 or 3 inch fly is long enough and thanks for the help

depends on the manufacture - I have SC17 in 3/0, SL11 in 2/0 and 1/0....I normally stick my pinky finger between the barb and shaft...if it won't fit it's too small. Mills uses Tiemco's...those I mentioned are gamakatsu. Went and looked in my fly tying box...been awhile since I looked in there :smt087

i got some new mustad c68sz and i like them better than the gamakatsu and lot chaper and gust as sharp

Yeah I usually listen to Jimmy Buffet and have a cool drink sitting near by when tying :-D
