Been a while since I've been able to fish my home waters by myself. I fished the incoming tide this afternoon, and days like today remind me why I live where I do. With just a gentle breeze out of the SE and me wearing basically summer clothes, I was able to break in the start of Thanksgiving weekend in style. I saw every red before I casted to them today. Conditions were perfect for picking them up on the sand in the potholes. Using a chartruse ADL spoon, I picked up a half dozen upper slot fish with the largest going about 30 inches. Life is good

Thought that might be you, TT, so I didn't want to crowd you. My guys had a good day as well, although our one red came unbuttoned.
We ended up with flounder, sand trout, sea bass, bluefish and several small gags. It was a beautiful day out there.
