My dad's buddy has an old Minn Kota 35N 17lb thrust trolling motor.
The switch has gone bad on it and it will not turn off

I suggested they just get a new one that is more powerful but they like the light weigh of the old one.

Anyone have one in their garage? Even if it does not work they may be able to take parts off it....

I've got one. It's a 32lb thrust Minn Kota. Model Turbo 50. It did work when I put it in my shed. I took it out the other day and it didn't work. Your welcome to it if you can figure out how to get it. It's at my house in Georgia. I won't be back to Keaton Beach for a couple of weeks.

are you still looking?? I have a working model (35 - 17lb thrust) that you're more than welcome to. It's my spare, spare trolling motor and haven't used it in years since it's really too small. Send me a PM on how I can reach you if you'd like it.

The old Model 36 lookes like this- and has a whoppiong 17lbs of thrust.

It also weighs nothing and is perfect for He and his buddies when they are pond fishing.
