DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET 18 VOLT REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FOR BATTERY POWERED DE WALT CORDLESS EQUIPMENT. I CALLED LOWES AND THEY HAVE THEM BUT THEY WANT $89 FOR JUST ONE BATTERY. THE COMPLETE SET OF TOOLS, CIRCULAR SAW, BLOWER, SABER SAW, DRILL MOTOR,AND SANDER, WITH TWO BATTERIES AND CHARGER WAS ONLY $149. IF I CAN NOT FIND REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FOR MUCH LESS THAN $89 I WILL THROW THE REST OF THIS JUNK IN THE GARBAGE. THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION ON THIS.

Try one of the Battery Source stores in Tally. They carry a full line of after-market replacement batteries and I'm sure they'll be cheaper than Lowes or HD.

Like Capt. Dave said, Battery Source or maybe try Harbor Freight. I'm also pretty sure you could find one reasonable at a pawn shop.

PA... A Battery Source store can generally disassemble your battery pack and replace just the cells. I had a 14 volt for a RYOBI saw that I was trying to find a replacement for and they rebuilt the original which has worked just fine.
