Yak safety equipment?

Taking a yak to Carrabelle for the first time next week and want to be legal. 12' wilderness commander. How about registration for one?

no reg needed unless under power. Whistle. A stern light if going out before daylight. NO COTTON CLOTHES as cold as it is.
