Fished 2/9. Decided since the tide was low at noon, we would fish the rising tide. Within 20 casts, had a keeper flounder. That was it for the day. Stayed mostly above the fort. Did run out a little ways in the river and the temp stayed around 59. Was 61 in the river above the fort.
When we were out on some bars, we got to watch a couple of dolphin feeding. Was pretty cool - when they started rounding the fish up we were over 100 yards away and we could hear the commotion. They definitely did better than we did - but they were fishing for support, not for sport.
I can't wait for a little bit of warmth in the afternoons. My brain has changed from quacks to Gobbles and Reds.
