Anyone know of a place for 4 people to rent at Spring Warrior or Econfina for Saturday night? Preferably a house over just a room.

NO fish over there. Best bet would be Carrabelle this time of year.

I normally dont stay down there but a few friends from work wanted to go down Saturday morning and fish 2 days. We may stay at Keaton but wouldn't mind spring warrior or Econ, the Fenholloway Hilton was all booked up so thats not an option this time.

Thanks Wevans, I knew they had rooms but I thought they were basically motel rooms. I tried to call them earlier and left a message. We really wanted to rent a house or something like that, preferably with a dock so we don't have to take the boats out Saturday night.

I don't think a house on the water is readily available at Econfina or spring warrior. Keaton does have plenty of rental houses with docks, though not just for a day, probably a weekend or longer. The Keatonbeachmarina.com has hotel rooms and cottages. You might find a house near Spring Warrior and Econfina, though it will not be on the water.

Thanks, we normally stay on Cedar Island if I stay overnight at all at a place that a friend has access to. It will be occupied this weekend though. We were just trying to avoid the motel route but as it looks now we will probably go the keaton beach marina route. I was trying for something a little closer to where I feel more comfortable fishing on a low tide. Looks like I will just be burning about 7 or 8 gallons of gas extra to get there....
Thanks

Be sure to seat at the Stop signs for 10 seconds while you're there. I got a ticket from the rat hole town Sunday on the way home for only being stopped 5 seconds.

Yeh the quitman PD have nothing better to do. On another note, does the new gas station going to Keaton sell Non-Ethanol gas?

They certainly do but only the premium gas is ethanol free. Or so the sign on the door says. You'd figure that put that at the pumps.
