Try the blue parrot... A standard for the area... It's the only beach front restaurant. Bjs pizza and Subs is a good family place. There is an Oyster restaurant on one of the backroads that is pretty cool too.

There is good fishing from the old bridge which is now just a fishing pier.

I usually hit up Papa Joe's or Boss in Apalach. There are several good places to choose from over there. If you are looking for something a little nicer (my wife's suggestion) then Owl Cafe is pretty good too.

Can't go wrong with the blue parrot either.

I usually fish around the 4th pull over spot. I always make sure to fish near a break in the sand bar.
With only a few swimmers in the water this time of year you might try either pavillion. Both produce fish. With family in tow you might need thier facilites for the children.

I'd sure like that Raw Bar a heck of a lot better if it wasn't so blue and orange.

Up the Creek in Apalachicola is a great place. Try the gator burger (the gator is ground like a typical burger) and the oysters mignionettte.

I know I am late, but Harry A's is an over priced tourist haunt with marginal food. They recently replced teh manager, which may help things, but I would avoid. Tamara's in Apalch is good too - pecan fried grouper with jalapeno cream sauce and horseradish mashed potatos is amazing. Love the Owl sunday brunch.
