Wow! New Google Earth images.

Google recently posted some new Google Earth photos of our area. The images are much clearer than those previously available. They appear to have been taken during a very low tide. Check out the rock garden by zooming in as much as possible. You can clearly see many exposed rocks. Yikes! Also visible are many interesting areas on the flats, including JT's holes. I'm bound to do much better in the tournaments now.

The ones I see was taken in Jan. very clear water allows to see the rocks with is very helpful in finding Jt's Holes.

Very cool... I've been going back to Feb 99 to get some black and white ones at low tide.
