There is a big tourney in 2 weeks. I don't think there will be a lot of reports for now. The fish are out there and biting big time. I know here were plenty of fish caught last weekend.

Yeap. Fish are biting. If there is a technique you don't have confidence in yet, then you can build some now.

I went Sat..... Because that full moon was closest to the earth than it's been in 20 years, there wasn't any water in the Econfina and I spent a half hour perched on top of a rock!!!
Thanks to the guys in the Sea Pro who pulled me off.
We did finally get out there and caught 38.

It WAS a bit low Saturday morning. We saw one guy heading back upstream, using his trolling motor; he had hit a rock with his outboard and it had seized up. A bad day for him.

Old Dog and I were on my boat this time PA, and he didn't even get out and push.

He did show me a new way down there that you had told him about.... much faster and no traffic...and yep, we did skin the kicker a bit, but I hammered it back in shape and we're ready to go again. (when the water comes back)

PA since the last time you went with me they have let some water out down there. Early that morning it seemed like we were almost out of sight of land before we got into some four foot water. We eventually found some of those "splodin" trout though and we had a good day. I hope everything settles down over your way soon so you can get back out on the water and talk up some of those big trout.
