Because if you put a report out there, then they'll be 6 boats sitting on every rock pile, pot hole and oyster bar from Horseshoe to Mexico Beach.
Folks will help with tips and tricks but gotta put the work & time.

So few reports because of so few fish, besides those few who had a lot of fish/weight ,which excludes me.Mabey everyone was at the masters.

We went out of Econfina sat at daylight till 1pm , and did little to nothing-
caught 1 nice trout, 1 nice Spanish and a handful of shorts on a Super Spook and a snot cat on a skitterwalk.
Not a fish on a gulp out at 7 feet where Jr. a the store suggested.
Beautiful day though!

I have a report for you.
Go fish a tournament on a day not of your choosing in an area not of your choosing in weather not of your choosing.
Spend many dollars pre-fishing and trying to keep up with lures to use and fish movements.
Make your final decision on where to fish at safe light.
Go to your number 1,2 or 3 spot just to find boats already sitting in them.
Fish like hell for 8 hours or less and be back at the departure ramp with whatever you have to show for it and don't be late.
When it is all done tell everyone about your triumph or failure, what baits did or did not work, what areas did or did not hold fish.
OR
Do what many on this forum do.
Go fish.
I commend everyone who puts in the time effort and expense to tournament fish regardless of the end of the day success.
Especially those who stop on the side of the road to assist a fellow fisherman who may be in distress.

OK, I'll write a report. Whatever I know or learn, others are welcome to it. I'd love to be able to bless someone else with some fish from my info.

Come to an NFGFC meeting and listen to some of the best fisherman in the area talk about fishing.
Bring a note pad and take notes.
OR
Come to a weigh in and listen to the day's stories fresh from the water
Gotta put in the time & do your homework.
