Looks like a good turnout and most caught something. Sorry I missed it. I wonder if everyone made it safely to and from the ramp. That river scares me. I've never been past the ramp but I've heard a bunch of bad stories.

I would not recommend paddling towards the ramp in an 11' canoe at 3:15pm while everybody else is planing to make weigh-in. First time I've ever been seasick on a river.

Well, where you were, there's not much anybody can do. That river is filled with rocks, props, lower units and promises. That's just the nature of that beast. Sorry you got seasick.

Had a blast Ashley. Thanks

Gary, sorry for the rough conditions. PSJ will treat you better; no channel, easy access to grass flats and no need to trudge river to river  .

Reel Cowboy: No hard feeling to the propsters. I scouted the day before, and knew what I was gonna be in for. That was my own fault for waiting to last minute to paddle back in a futile attempt to get that 5th slot trout!

Ashley: Excellent job on the tourney. Thanks for all the work. It was worth fishing it just to see what a 7.95 slot red looks like...I thought somebody pulled a hawg bass out of Lake Jackson and spray painted it copper & white.

Brian: Thanks for the tip to check western creeks. Kept me from having to put hot dogs on the grill Sunday.
