water intrusion on Pathfinders

I know this topic has been beaten to death on several boating websites, but was hoping for local input. From what I've read, even the pathfinders that self bail out the stern still have water intrusion equalling wet feet. This has been blamed on clogged in line valves. Corrective measures mainly have been the ping pong ball type scuppers.
It seems to me that the decks in the aft portion of the boat is too low.

In 2007, Pathfinder introduced the XL models. They raised the stern to support the heavier 4 cycle motors. I wonder if this had the unintended benefit of raising the aft deck. If so, maybe it solved the water intrusion issue?

I like the PF series of boats, but I refuse to upgrade from a flats boat, only to get wet feet!

Any thoughts?

Either put corks in the drain holes or stay on plane when boating.

Buy a Sea Chaser & you don't have that problem.
Same guy designed both hulls as Carolina Skiff told me.
