Bass fishing on foot in Tallahassee

Any decent places to fish on foot for bass in the Tallahassee area? Preferably some place with gently sloped shorelines, minimal weeds, no bugs and big bass. Oh yeah, and maybe a snack bar nearby. 
Seriously, is there any place to go for a few casts in the evening? Piney Z is terrible now that the pads are gone. Munson looks like a farmer's field now.
