Fished out of my brother's pontoon boat today on the flats for a couple hours. It was still kind of slow, I am hoping that things will pick up soon. We managed 2 keeper trout and 3 keeper spanish. Our trout were both around 18. We caught a few of our fish on topwater, which was fun. I'm spending today with my Mom and then I'll be back on the water Monday.

Good job, those 2 trout you got are fat. I don't know what's going on with trout right now, they just haven't been feeding real good. Friday we got all kinds of hits and misses, on corks and straight jigs. I wonder if the temperature needs to climb just a little more?

That's what I'm hopin man, trout bite has definitely been struggling. Went again today and picked up six keeper trout but they were lower slot and fishin was still slow.
