Near Palmetto Island 5/7/11

Took a friend fishing this weekend. We caught plenty of trout. Only managed one pic of my nearly two foot trout.
We caught fish on gulp under cork, mirrolures, some early topwater action, but quite limited, and gulp and jig bounced on the bottom.
Most fish were in 6 to 10 feet of water. Found one rat red(about 14") in close before the tide went out.
My buddy has been diagnosed with cancer and is respondoing well to treatment, but more fishing is part of his bucket list and I was happy to accomodate him. We had a blast, catching fish and telling stories. It is the way all fishing trips are supposed to be.
